In Spain are the Three Wise Men who deliver children Christmas gifts the night of the 5th of January. On January 6th is bank holiday for kids to play with the toys. It is also happening in Cuba, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Paraguay, Uruguay, Colombia and Venezuela.
¿How do we invite them inside our homes in Spain?
Every year we leave our shoes next to the window, next to water and sweets for the 3 Wise Men. Also some water for the camels. The next morning we enjoy the breakfast with an special cake. Here you´ll find the 3 Wise Men Cake recipe.
Lately cityhalls around Spain do arrange huge Wise Men cakes, as you can see in the pictures. It looks tasty isn´t it?
